Cardinals lose after 20 innings to Mets on Saturday

Saturday’s game starring the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri sure was one for the ages. Or was that ageless? After 7.5 hours, the game finally ended, and many of the photographers began to off load images. It was a hard game for me, as I was having so many problems it was endless. At first my Java uploader for Southcreek Global was not working – my fault because the java uploader on my computer was going AWOL and I could do nothing about it. Then while attempting to FTP the photos across the wire, my FTP username went dead. Talk about not good. I could not get any images out from the game until about 12:50 last night.

While games like last night’s might be great for crowds and entertainment, in my eyes, they are only good for two things. Those would be: 1. Making it incredibly hard to make great action photos, and 2. raising the blood pressure of many of the eager fans ready to see a player crush one out of the park for the winning run.

Overall, Saturday’s Mets at Cardinals game, was a good pitching game and I feel like I got some very solid photos out of it. I just updated my Sportsshooter Page – (Click Here). Below are just a few of my favorite shots from the game:
